Coleman Vineyard wine is estate grown and produced by co-vintners Randy and Kim Coleman. Along with mother nature, we have control of the process at our winery and vineyard site from the time the vines first bloom in the spring until the cork is placed in the bottle. The grapes are cropped each year to approximately 2 tons/acre and dry farmed for ripening and intensity of the wine. We strive to express the terroir in our wines, a reflection of our unique site and climate, with gentle, minimal winemaking techniques.

Winemaker Randy Coleman has extensive experience in industrial manufacturing during his many years as an electrical contractor. He manages the crush and winemaking process, where winery equipment is a critical and integral part of the success of the wine. Randy and Kim studied viticulture and winemaking through the continuing education program at University of California at Davis.

Winemaker Kim Coleman manages the enological duties of the winery. She has a college background in food science and nutrition and practiced as a chiropractor for twelve years before pursuing her dream of making wine. Kim has studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, cooking in their professional kitchens to further her knowledge of flavor evaluation and food and wine pairing. She is developing a web page for home cooks who would like to expand their food and wine skills.
